It's also super stable, with safety-minded detailing. At just 6.2 pounds, the anodized aluminum alloy unit is easy to carry, even up and down stairs. It unfolds securely into position and locks at the side hinges. The top step measures 31 inches high, while the handrail reaches 51 inches when the ladder is in its foldout position. Ridged for a nonslip design, the steps are comfortably spaced and measure a generous 2-3/4 inches deep. The top step is notable for its double-width design, providing a total of 6 inches of standing room. The ladder rests on four nonslip, nonconductive plastic feet and holds up to 225 pounds.
