But it's nothing out of the ordinary for Adelaide's trampoline stars Scott Brown and Ben Wilden.
The best friends took out silver medals at the Trampoline and Tumbling World Championships in Canada last month.
"We were confident but at the same time we just wanted to go out there and do our best," Ben says.
Synchronised jumping means the guys also have to be a similar height and weight, and their individual Trampoline careers are also following a similar thread, with Ben selected to compete at the Beijing Olympics next year.
"But Scott's my reserve so he still has to work his butt off," Ben says with a laugh.
Outside of bouncing, as they affectionately refer to their sport, Scott's studying physiotherapy, while Ben works in a crash repair business and as a glassy at Elysium lounge.
