THE Weston Cricket Club Ladies First XI were named as runners-up in the Travelex Sport Exchange competition, narrowly missing out on the winners' prize to the Kingston Trampoline Academy.

The decision to award the trampoline with the accolade was made by a panel of judges, including Travelex sporting ambassadors Jonny Wilkinson, John McEnroe, Brett Lee and Adam Gilchrist. Emma Briton, Michael Freeman and Andrew Freeman from the Kingston Academy can now look forward to travelling to one of the world's leading trampoline centres to gain an once-in-a-lifetime coaching experience.

The Weston Ladies entered the Travelex Sport Exchange by submitting their entry online. Once selected by the judging panel as one of the three best entries, they went head-to-head with fellow finalists Alexis Georgiou, a martial arts expert, and members of the Kingston Trampoline Academy.

The Weston Ladies managed to generate more than 69,000 votes and in recognition of this outstanding achievement have been rewarded by the Travelex Sport Exchange with a special consolation prize.

The entire Weston Ladies squad can look forward to a unique coaching session in London next year with Australian cricket stars and Travelex ambassadors Brett Lee and Adam Gilchrist.
